This is a simple blog about the pursuit of happiness. After some unfortunate experiences some time ago, happiness became a priority. But what is happiness and how does one find happiness? Does happiness complete the package? One nervous breakdown later, happiness seemed like something worth learning about. Since then I have learnt some valuable happiness lessons, amongst the greatest was that there will always be something to learn from everything, even if it’s just as simple as to ‘never do that again’.
This is a personal blog, from a mostly happy women. It’s about life and lessons I learnt along the way.

Thanks for visiting Male/Female.
Although your writings are not meant to be funny (are they?), you certainly possess a high dose of humor.
We have one thing in common: our feet haven’t changed.
Keep writing, you make trivial things interesting…
thank you, I think.
Its funny isn’t it, when the rest of your body grows but your feet never change.
I have not been so excited to read a blog as I am now about yours. We seem like we have some similar traits, and I can relate to having depression & being unhappy (and then pulling myself out of it with the help of therapists, family, and friends). You seem like a brilliant person and I know your blog is/will be fantastic (I just haven’t read everything yet). Cheers love! xoxo
Thanks for the enthusiasm, your 2 kind. That is what I love most about blogging, sharing my thoughts and reading the thoughts of others and seeing how many people out there have experienced similar things to me and getting to read about their journey. I’m very glad I came across your blog.
Great to read about your struggles, as I wish more people should share their difficulties. We all face them & it’s encouraging to know that it is normal to suffer and that ultimately one can prevail with the right surroundings. great work!
Thanks thats really nice of you to say. And I agree completely, the times we suffer we keep it to ourself so much, I guess out of shame, but there is no shame in struggling and hearing about the experiences of others, espicially those who have been in the same position as me, has really helped a lot.
And I’m sure you are returning the karma to others by writing about it, so the circle of goodness keeps spinning. To be down, or indifferent to the world for periods of time should be viewed as someone’s normal response to a sometimes stressful world, but I get the feeling the world would rather everyone have a standard response…you know, ‘be a good robot & keep everything perfect.’ But that’s not very realistic. Thanks for your response as well. J.
I’m blown away by what I’ve read so far in here and can absolutely relate to what you’ve been going through. I’ve been there a few times over the course of my life (I’m 49 now).
Continue to write……..continue to express…….continue to heal.
BIG HUGE HUGZZZZZ
Thanks for reading, its sad and comforting at the same time how many people can relate to this situation and how many people have gone through the same thing, as much as I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, it makes it easier to cope with hearing the stories of others.
Please accept my greetings and appreciation to you

I’m older than you and have already been down the path you describe…You’re stronger than you think and you’re fighting back. Bravo!
Thank you, that means a lot.
I also have a song for everything. I’m also a little scared of birds. I mean, who isn’t afraid of something that can fly over and poop on you without you even knowing????

thanks for thinking of me.
Wow girl, our situations are even more alike than you thought! I suffer from anxiety and depression, too. That definitely makes a break-up even harder and more difficult to get over. Still, you CAN do it. And anxiety and depression don’t have to control your life! (I sound like a commercial for an anti-depressant lol) Hang in there and keep writing! I look forward to reading your stuff!
I meant to say more alike than “I” thought (when I started reading about your blog)
It’s always good to know it’s not just me! Thanks
I’m glad you found my blog. Just checked yours out and really enjoying what I have read so far. We are a lot a like. Looking forward to reading more! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with the rest of us.

My fav blogs are where people share their stories with others, I think it’s most effective and it really helps other people out there. And stick to a topic? Pfft, no way! I’m just like you, write about what I feel like writing at the time!
Looking forward reading your posts x
Yeah mine too. If your willing to get a bit personal on your blog and show your vunerability, I think thats how you find it the most rewarding. As well as reading the blogs of those willing to do the same.
I admire your openness and willingness to share about your struggles with Depression, as many people are silent warriors in the fight against it.
Keep your head up; it gets better! Great blog – keep up the good posts
Congrats on finding a blog; and kudos to you for sharing your voice.

Thank you very much. I was actually reading your blog post this morning but didn’t get to the very end to see that you mentioned me, so it was a lovely surprise. I very much enjoy your blog and looking forward to your future posts.
Yes, I understand the years-long slog it takes to understand what one is up against medically and how that affects relationships! Best to you, Renee
